Getting Started in USTA

How to join the USTA as a junior member (free):

1) Go to  How USTA Membership Benefits You  

2) Click on the "Become a Member" button and fill out the profile information. 

Getting Started in UTR

How to create a free profile:

1) Go to https://www.universaltennis.com/

2) Fill out the profile information. If you are creating a profile for your child, we recommend that they have their own email address as this account will follow them through adulthood. You can self-rate to get started. Give us a call if you need guidance on self-rating.

3) After creating your profile, search for Southern Indiana Tennis Center on the UTR website and click “REQUEST TO JOIN” at the top of the webpage. It is free to become a member, and it will allow you to receive notifications of events at SITC.

4) Search for events and get playing!

All aspiring tennis players should set up this free profile. Qualifying match play results will be reported to UTR as to establish a player rating. This is the future of tennis and helps create level based play. Adult and juniors, males and females, can compete together allowing for greater participation and more competitive match play. We recommend that all school level players and recreational players interested in match play create a profile.
